Description

The Bureau of Labor Statistics intends to enter into a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures with Dr. Catherine L. Mann (Senior Fellow at the Institute for International Economics) 10500 Birnham Road, Great Falls, VA 22066, for research services required for developing guidelines for pricing International services. Total cost for this requirement is NTE $12,000.00. This project requires a contractor with experience and knowledge in tracking and valuing International services, as well as experience in using International Price Program (IPP) price data. Data are not available from public sector sources. Because the proposed contractor is the only responsible source that can provide the demonstrated knowledge required for this effort, it is recommended that such contractor conduct the research. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. There is no RFP notice. The posting is for information purposes only.
