Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation USSS030026 for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Replacement at the U.S. Secret Service James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC), 9200 Powder Mill Rd., Laurel, Maryland 20708, is hereby amended. The requirement for the submission of "as-built" drawings is deleted. The performance period is clarified to include adequate time for a contractor to order and receive equipment from the UPS manufacturer. The period required for the contractor to complete the project including all installation and testing is revised to read ?not later than ninety days (90) days after contract award?. In replacing the UPS there will be a complete power shut-off during the scheduled weekend timeframe. The power shut-off shall not to exceed forty-eight (48) hours. There are no known building code or permit issues effecting this procurement. The replacement UPS will be located in the same place. The input and output voltages of the UPS System are 480/208. The electrical feed requirement in both directions is approximately 40 feet. The due-date for written quotes is extended to ?not later than 10:00 A.M. (EDST), Wednesday May 28, 2003.?
