Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington has a requirement for transcription services for the National Naval Medical Center, Radiology Service Line, 8901 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20889. This requirement is unrestricted, full and open competition. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is R603 and the North American Industry Code (NAICS) is 561410. FAR Clause 52-217-8 Option to Extend Services (Nov 99) and FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (MAR 2000) will be included. The contract period of performance will be from date of award to 30 September 2003 with three (3) one year option periods. The offeror shall provide on-site services for radiology transcription from recorded dictation. This acquisition is being conducted using the Test Procedures for Certain Commercial Items defined in FAR 13.5. Under these procedures the government (1) is not required to determine a competitive range; (2) is not required to hold discussions; and (3) is not required to provide offerors with an opportunity to submit final revised proposals. This award will be made to the offeror, consistent with the requirements of the solicitation, who is determined to provide the lowest cost, technically acceptable offer to the government.
