Item 0001 NSN 6150-01-428-4493PR P/N: 1820M61G01. The item description of this W-1 cable, electrical is an extended length of cable with 7 branches of cable extending out from the main length of cable. The cable has aluminum connectors attached to the ends. The function of the W-1 cable is to supply electrical power to the engine accessories. The dimensions are 71.25-72.25 main length of cable. Branch H-149.5-150.5 (PT A-H), Branch G-116.0-117.0 (PT A-G) branch J-27.5-28.5 (PT J-R), Branch L-109.75-110.75 (PT T-L), Branch Y-103.5-104.5 (PT V-Y), Branch E-57.0-58.0 (PT T-E), Branch D-70.5-71.5 (PT V-D). The materials consists of electrical wiring, aluminum connectors, silicon tape shrink tubing, A23B5A3 & A23C5A2 tape, AMS2473 finish, B50TF-3 CL-A solder and nickel plated wire. Applicable to: F110-100. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3028. Delivery: 31 Aug 2004, 8 ea. The approximate issue date will be 02 Jun 2003. The anticipated award date will be 30 Jul 2003. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requester are acceptable. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation to: LaBarge Inc., Joplin MO, and BAE Systems/LMCS, Ft Wayne IN. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
