Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for repair/conditioning and testing/recertification of two 40-ton Link Belt Hydraulic Cranes, Models RTC8040, back to their original operating conditions. One of the cranes was originally purchased in 1985 and the other in 1987. Both cranes were purchased with several special features to better perform lock and dam repairs. The work is to be scheduled so that one crane is available for use at all times. The first crane will be available within 30 days after award of the contract. Prospective bidders are required to inspect the cranes and provide a detailed list of repairs and the shop rate in their quote. Contact Ross Woodbury at (502) 315-6706 to arrange a site visit.
