- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-03-T-0047. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06 and Defense Acquisition Change Notice (DCN): 20020426. The Business Size Standard is 500; North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 337212; Standard Industrial Classification: 2541. This acquisition is the Design, Fabrication and Installation of Deck/Mezzanine and includes Contract Line Item Line (CLIN) 0001: Design of Mezzanine/Deck/Railing/Staircase in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). A rough drawing of the Mezzanine Design, a Description of the unit, and a Materials list is required with quote submission; CLIN 0002: Fabrication of said Mezzanine/Deck/Railing/Staircase, etc; and CLIN 0003: Installation of said Mezzanine/Deck/Railing/Staircase, etc. Place of delivery and acceptance is at Edwards AFB, CA with F.O.B Destination. CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (MAR 2001). The following provisions and clauses apply: 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the contracting officer will make their full text available. Provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Interested parties are required to attend a site visit, tentatively scheduled to occur the week of May 26-30. All interested vendors are required to contact the contracting official below to arrange entry to the base. Please note that any Foreign Nationals attending will require additional information and investigation before entry and may not be granted access to Edwards AFB.
