Description

NA The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source to procure Maccor automated battery test systems. This procurement is for one [1] 8-channel ,0 to 5V 250A battery test system and accessories, installation and training; also, for one [1 ] 32-channel, 0 to 5V 30A battery test system and 32 test cables. This is a sole-source procurement to Maccor Inc., 2805 West 40th Street, Tulsa OK 74107. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as i mplemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The automated battery test systems will be procured in support of the mission of Army Research Laboratory [ARL] Power Components Bra nch for use at Adelphi Laboratory Center, MD. Only Maccor Inc. can supply battery test equipment with the accuracy, current range, and switching time needed for the present testing program. No other type will satisfy ARL requirements. Estimated delivery schedule is 90 days after award of contract. See Numbered Note 22.
