Description
APPROXIMATE ISSUE DATE: Tentative date for release of draft RFP: 4 June 03 The Ogden Air Logistic Center plans to issue the Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the Environmental Design/Build Program on or about 04 Jun 03. The RFPs will be issued over the internet at FedBizOps at address http://www.eps.gov. The objective of this program is to operate sites located on Hill Air Force Base (AFB), UT, or on adjoining properties such as the Utah Test and Training Range, and Little Mountain Test Annex. The contractors shall be required to furnish personnel and equipment to respond to requests for environmental support, including, but not limited to, CERCLA Remedial/ Removal Actions or RCRA Corrective Actions, installation of environmental equipment or facilities to promote or improve environmental compliance, emergency removal actions, and pollution prevention initiatives at sites under the control of the federal government and at sites which the federal government has been determined to be a generator. Multiple Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract awards (up to five) are anticipated with total program value of $20.07 million. Of the five contracts, the government anticipates awarding one to an 8(a) firm and one to a small business firm if the government determines, from the proposals, there are offerors in these categories capable of satisfying the requirement. The remaining three contracts will be awarded to qualified firms, regardless of size, as a full and open competition. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 562910, which corresponds to 500 employees. The government anticipates contract award September 2003 with a ten-year basic period.
