Description

THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED FOR VIEWING AND PRINTING ON THE FBO WEBSITE ON APPROXIMATELY 5/28/03. The project consists of furnishing and erecting a prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge, including timber abutments with wing walls, excavation, backfill, placing riprap and geotextile fabric. The work shall include the removal and stockpiling of a temporary bridge at the project site. The temporary bridge shall not be removed until construction of the new bridge begins and the contractor receives written permission from the Contracting Officer. It is recommended that the bridge be fabricated and delivered to the project site in two 30-foot section as the final 2.6 miles on the route to the project site has tight corners. The project is located south of Atlanta, Idaho. Take Highway 21 to about Mile Post 17.5 and turn right on Forest Road 268, Middle Fork Boise River Road or Arrowrock Road. Continue for 66 miles to just before the town of Atlanta. Turn right on Forest Road 289, Yuba River Road and continue for 2.6 miles to the confluence of Yuba River and Decker Creek. Estimated start date is 7/15/03 with completion by 8/10/04. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code: 237310. Size Standard: $28.5 Million. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
