- Description
- The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA), Advanced Technology Division (IDI), compressed-Pathfinder 2004 (c-Pf04) team is submitting the following Request for Information (RFI) regarding the identification of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) tools that perform autonomous, multi-image, precision mosaicking and geopositioning, and electronic light table (ELT) functions. The objective of the CELTIC c-Pf04 Pathfinder evaluation is to assess COTS tools that support the analyst's ability to exploit, auto-register, mensurate and combine image data from multiple sensors to support precision mosaic generation, highly accurate point targeting, Battle Damage Assessment (BDA), image dissemination, battlefield visualization, environmental monitoring, natural disaster damage assessment and provide fly-through perspectives. The results of the c-Pf04 project will serve as a report for customer analysis, providing NIMA customers with information on functionality and performance of COTS products. Customers will use this acquisition-compliant data to support acquisition decisions that meet individual concept of operations. NIMA/IDI is interested in finding DEVELOPERS or VENDORS of commercial off-the-shelf (commercial or government-owned) tools or technologies, "beta or better" (6.3/6.4), who are experienced in the autonomous, multi-image, precision mosaicking and geopositioning, and electronic light table (ELT) functions. Tools should have the potential to support downgraded and declassified imagery product creation, mosaic generation, multi-sensor autonomous registration and orthorectification, and multiple image mensuration. Based on the responses to this RFI, the c-Pf04 team will select the appropriate tools and systems for assessment. If you or your organization is involved in this technology, please refer to the acquisition and contracts web site at http://www.nima.mil, "Business Opportunities", for white paper submission requirements. Further information concerning the details of this RFI can be found on this website. Changes will not be posted on FedBizOpps; however, the web site will be updated as needed. Please watch for date changes under the heading, as this will indicate information has been added/changed.
