Description
The United States Marine Corps (USMC), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Battlespace Management and Air Defense Systems (BMADS), PM Radars is sponsoring a Radar Industry Week to be held 9-13 June 2003 at Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC) Auditorium, 3300 Russell Road, Quantico VA 22134. BMADS Radar Project officers will brief the next generation of radar systems being developed to support the Marine Air Ground Task Force Commander?s requirement to be lightweight, expeditionary, and more capable to all interested parties on 9 June 2003. 10-13 June is reserved to provide industry with an opportunity to meet with the Government on a one-on-one basis. The proposed Agenda is listed as an attachment. Please reply to Ms. Lisa Herbst, (540) 658-1335 x 2237, email: LHerbst@anteon.com no later than 23 May 2003 with your list of attendees, media requirements, and to coordinate briefing assignment times. Fifty minute briefing time slots will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Vendors are allowed two fifty-minute blocks (maximum) to complete their briefs. A third fifty-minute block will be coordinated with interested vendors, after 23 May, based on availability of open time slots, on a first come, first serve basis. Due to the availability of timeslots, vendors are asked to consolidate multiple corporate submissions into their maximum allotted time period. All briefs are unclassified. Foreign vendor participation will be based on approval of releasibility of information. Reservations for foreign participation in Radar Industry Week will not be accepted after 23 May due to time required to process releasibility requests with Headquarters, Marine Corps. Contractors are invited to read (only) the revised draft Multi-Role Radar System (MRRS), draft Ground Weapons Locating Radar (GWLR) and revised draft Highly Expeditionary Long Range Air Surveillance (HELRASR) Operational Requirements Documents (ORDs) at Anteon Corporation Stafford Operations Center I (1229 Garrisonville Road, Suite 101, Stafford, VA 22556) by coordinating a visit request in advance with Ms. Lisa Herbst (540) 658-1335 x 2237. 9 June 2003 (tentative) ? 0730-0820 Check in; Introduction, Radar Roadmap Brief, SEABASING Brief; Highly Expeditionary Long Range Air Surveillance Radar (HELRASR); Multi-Role Radar System (MRRS); Ground Weapons Locating Radar (GWLR). 10-13 June is reserved for individual contractors to brief their approaches, strategies, questions and concerns on how they propose to provide acquisition support for that program. The Marine Corps panel will consist of MARCORSYSCOM, Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC), Marine Corps Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA), and Marine Corps Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC). Questions/comments and general responses should be submitted to the BMADS Contract Specialist, Ms. Loretta C. Buckley, by 27 May 2003. Please submit all information to Commander, Marine Corps Systems Command, Attn: BMADS/Ms. Loretta C. Buckley, 2033 Barnett Avenue, Suite 315, Quantico, VA 22134-5010. All hand carried deliveries (including UPS, FedEx, etc.) shall be delivered to 2079 Wharton Avenue, Quantico, VA 22134.
