- Description
- The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations having capability to perform quantitative analysis of cannabinoids, cocaine and metabolites, opiates, l-alpha-acetylmethadol, phencyclidine, LSD and other drugs of abuse in biological fluids (blood, saliva, plasma, urine) and tissues by means of gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The analyses must be specific and sensitive as required for pharmacokinetic studies (generally in the low ng/ml range). The offeror must possess the necessary laboratory space, instrumentation, and experience in assays of cannabinoids and other drugs of abuse to carry out these tasks. To handle test substances under the controlled Substances Act of 1970, offerors must possess a DEA Research Registration for Schedules II to V. NIDA may also require a Schedule I DEA Research Registration. It is estimated that a 5 year incrementally funded cost-reimbursement type (completion) contract will be awarded. RFP No. N01DA-4-7737 will be available electronically on or about June 4, 2003. You can access the RFP through Fedbizopps (URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov or through the NIDA website at the following: (URL: http://www.nida.nih.gov/RFP/REPList.htm;). Please note that the RFP for this acquisition will be streamlined to include only the work statement, Deliverables and Reporting Requirements, Special Requirements and Mandatory Qualifications, Technical criteria, and other necessary Proposal Preparation Instructions. All information required for the submission of an offer will be contained in or accessible through the electronic RFP package. Responses to the RFP will be due on or about July 21, 2003.
