Description

Provide labor, equipment, and materials to remove approximately 3,500 square feet of limestone cobble sidewalk and install government furnished sandstone pavers. Install new sod on all areas disturbed during the work on the walkway. Estimated cost range: $25,000-$100,000. NAICS Code: 235410. This is a "full and open competition" award which will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. An award selection will be based on best value to the Government with price and other factors considered. No hard copies of the Request for Quotation will be mailed or issued. The Request for Quotation with attachments will be posted on the website http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about May 27, 2003. A pre-bid site visit will be conducted at Fort Scott National Historic Site on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Attendance is not mandatory but highly recommended. Samples of stone to be used for the walkway will be available. Contact Jackie Messer at 620-223-0310 if you have questions on the site visit. Response date for the Request for Quotation is June 17, 2003.
