- This is a sources sought announcement and is for information purposes only. There is no solicitation available at this time. The U.S. Air Force through the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is conducting research to determine the existence of potential business sources interested in providing logistics support for the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard C-21A fleet of 76 Learjet Model 35 aircraft, business jets. The fleet is generally used for transport of government personnel. Aircraft can be configured for medevac support. Aircraft in this fleet are routinely stationed at Main Operating Bases (MOBs) worldwide; see location of performance below. Aircraft may be stationed at additional deployment bases and may be deployed for wartime contingencies. The period of performance is 1 Jul 2004 through 30 Sep 2004 for transition, one year basic from 1 Oct 04 through 30 Sep 05, and six one year options ending 30 Sep 2011. This is a follow-on effort to contract F34601-94-C-0950. The requirement includes the performance of all maintenance and installation of modifications, including parts and labor, IAW the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and the U.S. Air Force requirements for the C-21A fleet. Depot level aircraft maintenance shall be accomplished at an FAA certificated repair station. The government will furnish pilots for ferry flights to and from the aircraft depot facility, normal functional check flights and fuel at aircraft depot facilities. The requirement also includes day-to-day or organizational maintenance, which shall be accomplished wherever the aircraft are stationed. The government will furnish petroleums, oils and lubricants (POL), transient alert services, some support equipment and facilities at the MOBs. The requirement includes unscheduled maintenance, including parts and labor, wherever the aircraft is located when the maintenance is required, worldwide. Supply support of all parts, including engines, will be a requirement of this contract. Transportation of parts and data items will also be required. MOBs may be located at but not limited to Andrews AFB Camp Springs MD, Scott AFB Belleville, Langley AFB Hampton VA, Offutt AFB Omaha NE, Wright Patterson AFB Dayton OH, Maxwell AFB Montgomery AL, Randolph AFB Universal City TX, Peterson AFB Colorado Springs CO, Keesler AFB Biloxi MS, Ramstein AB Germany, and Yokota AB Japan.
