Description
NA HEARTSVILLE COULEE DIVERSION, EAST GRAND FORKS, MINNESOTA. Contractor will provide all plant, labor, materials and supplies necessary for construction of approximately 17,560 linear feet of earth levees, 6,170 linear feet of diversion channel, a new highwa y bridge over the diversion at Bygland Road, 2 gravity outlets for drainage area L-15, 7 road raises, and associated items. As part of the East Grand Forks Flood Control Project a diversion channel will be constructed just upstream of the intersection of the coulee with the levee protecting the Point area of East Grand Forks. During flood conditions, the diversion channel will direct flows to the east around the protected area of the city, where it will be returned to the Red Lake River channel. This procurement will be issued under the Competitive 8(a) program. Only those firms recognized as 8(a) by the Small Business Administration will be eligible to bid on this procurement. Estimated order of magnitude of the requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is more than $10 million. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 Million. The official solicitation is available only by CD-ROM.
