Description
NA Department of the Army, Defense Contracting Command-Washington, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 20310-5200 intends to award a single source contract (IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source) to Mr. Barry Lipsy, c/o 11312, Farmland Dr., Rockville, MD 20852, for a follow-on contract entitled: Optimizing the U.S. Army Marketing Strategy Process - Chief Marketing Officer. The U.S. Army requires the services of a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the Army's Brand Group to assist and advise the s enior civilian and military leaders in strengthing and improving its marketing strategy, continue the positive recruiting momentum, and to strengthen the Army's connection with the American public. The contractor shall provide expertise in support of the US Army's advertising marketing and advertising initiative by providing services involving the development of marketing and advertising strategy for the US Army (as well as coordinating the efforts of the U.S. Army's Brand Group). The contractor shall lea d the development of marketing and advertising strategy for the total Army and oversees its development for each Army command (Army Accessions Command, Army Recruiting Command, Army Cadet Command, and Office of the Chief of the Army Reserve). The contract or shall be responsible for all key marketing and advertising end products; manage the overall advertising agency relationship; and define market research needs. The contractor shall be responsible for all management, administrative, clerical and supervis ory functions as CMO to the Army's Brand Group. The period of performance of this contract will be for twelve (12) months. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
