Description

The work consists of the repair of erosion damage to county roads, low water crossings, and culverts in Blanco County, Texas. The work to be accomplished includes construction of grout footings and grouting of rock riprap to protect the roads, low water crossings, and culverts. A total of 3 sites are to be constructed with one or more of these protective measures on each site. All work areas and easement routes will be marked or identified at the time of the site showing. Contractor will be responsible for traffic control as needed. Repair work will require approximately 770 tons of rockrip, 211 cu.yds. of grout, and Class A (2) and C site preparations. Blanco County EWP Sites 1-03 and 4-01 are located near the town of Blanco in Blanco County TX. Site 3-01 is located near the town of Johnson City in Blanco County TX. Only one award will be made for the entire project. The NAICS Code is 237990. Performance period will be 71 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed, which will be issued approximately June 27, 2003. This project is unrestricted. Price range is $25,000 to $100,000. Site showing will be conducted on June 3, 2003, 10:00 A.M., 200 North Ave. G, Johnson City, Blanco County TX 78636. Solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps web site and will be available to download on or about May 21, 2003.
