Description

The Colville National Forest has a requirement for Big Meadow Lake Trail Bridge Reconstruction. The project is located on the Sullivan Lake Ranger District, in Pend Oreille County, Washington (which is located in Northeast Washington State). The project consists of: demolition and removal of an existing wooden trail bridge and existing wooden bridge approaches; excavation and backfill for new abutments and new bridge approaches (47 lf); fabrication and installation of new precast concrete abutments; design, fabrication and installation of a prefabricated steel truss (50 LF) trail bridge; and installation of riprap. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools and transportation necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. The project will be procured on an unrestricted basis. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about May 27, 2003. Estimated start work date is on or about July 14, 2003, with a completion date of 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Quotes are estimated to be due June 17, 2003. An Alternate Payment Protection (payment bond) will be required upon award. NAICS code is 237310. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000.
