Description: Contractor will provide personnel, materials, and supplies to accomplish thinning of trees on the Sacramento Ranger District. Job includes pre-commercial thinning on 178 acres and will be thinned to various prescriptions. Defective trees will be removed for the purpose of the Wildland Urban Interface Projects. Slash treatment includes 178 acres of thinning and handpiling. Piles will be covered with contractor provided burn paper. NAICS Code: 115310. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 19, 2003.
