- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to procure the design, fabrication and delivery of two (2) gas turbine exhaust duct/stack systems for a Gas Turbine Test Facility at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division including equipment design drawings. Each of the systems components shall be fabricated, assembled and shipped as a complete unit. The elements per each gas turbine exhaust duct/stack system are lined duct sections, lined rectangular to square transition section, lined square to round transition section and lined round stack sections. Material is from A-36 carbon steel and 409 stainless steel. Material thickness range from 12 gauge to 0.25 inch. Insulation made from ceramic fiber. Exhaust temperature at 1200 F (max). The estimated delivery time for the gas turbine exhaust duct/stack systems is 20 weeks or sooner afte r date of contract. This is a commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS classification for this acquisition is 332322 with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be released on or about 9 May 2003 and will close 25 days thereafter.
