Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicittion for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-03-T-0170 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued as a small business set-a-side, NAICS code 327390, FSC code 5450. The Naval Consolidated Brig, Charleston, SC requires 240 feet of 6 foot concrete barriers and 1260 feet of 12 foot concrete barriers, barriers should be two feet wide at the bottom and six inches wide at the top, barriers must be interlocking with identical ends (no left or right pieces), barriers must not require pins, bolts, or loose hardware to interlock; suggested barrier is the Concrete Jersey Barrier that uses the JJHooks barrier system "or equal"; The following provisions apply: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, and citing: 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, 52.222-41, 52.222-42; 52.219-1 Small Business Program Representations; 52.219-1 Alt I; 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside; 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, and citing: 252.225-7000; 252.204-7004 Central Contractor Registration; Offers are due by close of business 12 May 2003 and may be faxed to 912/673-2191, emailed to the Government Point of Contact listed, or mailed to the address provided for the Contracting Officer; Numbered Note 1 applies;
