Description

Re-roofing of Comfort Stations at the Diamond Lake Recreation Area on the Diamond Lake Ranger District; Work is located approximately 72 miles east of Roseburg, OR and includes removal of existing built-up roof system and skylights, installation of new truss system, sheathing, metal roofing, skylights, flashing and drainage; This project includes 12 buildings in a base item with option items for up to 4 additional buildings; Work requires completion by October 2004; This is a Request For Proposals; In addition to price proposals Offerors are required to complete a Questionnaire; Detailed Technical Proposals are not required; Technical response elements include technical capability related to wood truss replacement and metal roofing construction, safety, and project management, employment practices for utilization of local area labor, and past performance history; Award evaluation criteria include technical capability, commitment to utilization of local area labor, and past performance history in addition to price; Award may be made without discussions; The project magnitude is in the range between $100,000 and $250,000; NAICS 238160; Hard copies of the solicitation are not available.
