- Description
- This project includes the towing, dry docking, and wastewater treatment system replacement in the NAKWASINA and CHICKAMIN barges. Work includes the removal of existing marine sanitation device (MSD), and the installation of a new wastewater system. Plumbing, electrical, and hull cutting, welding, and coating repair are incidental to the work. The NAKWASINA Barge is located in and will be returned to the dock in Petersburg. The CHICKAMIN Barge is located in and will be returned to Brimstone Bay in Neets Bay in northwest Revilla Island, Alaska. The performance period is 180 days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about May 12, 2003 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation R10-05-03-37. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select ?Register to Receive Notification? and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select ?Register as an Interested Vendor? and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting ?View List of Interested Vendors? for each project.
