- Description
- It is the Government?s intent to issue a Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price requirement for NSN:8475-01-333-9269, Mask and Hood Assembly (MBU 19/P), in accordance with Design Control Reference 210-20009; Item no.38, Part no. 210-20009-04; Hood Assembly. The solicitation will be issued on an Unrestricted Basis with a Base Year minimum quantity of 500/ea and maximum quantity of 950/ea. There will be two one-year mandatory term options with a minimum quantity of 450/ea. and a maximum quantity of 600/ea. Two deliveries starting 180 days after date of award to New Cumberland Pa. and Tracy Ca. are required. The solicitation will utilize Best Value Source Selection procedures. Offerors will be required to submit a technical proposal consisting of Past Performance, Socioeconomic Program Support, DLA Mentoring Business Agreement, and Javits-Wagner-O?Day Act entity Proposal. A First Article inspection is required and shall consist of a Visual Examination and Chemical Permeation testing. Source sampling is required for Bromobutyl Coated Fabric per Air Force Dwg. 9842400, Rev B. Government reserves the right to award on a basis other than price alone. There are three approved sources for this item Allied materials & Equipment Co. Inc., Gentex Corp., and ILC Industries Inc. All responsible sources seeking approval should contact Gamal Salama DSCP-COET 215-737-5692. All materials are contractor furnished. Include notes 1, 9, 26. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after (04 June 2002). From the Gateway home page, select ?Search RFPs? from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFP solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The NSN notification will contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet.
