Description

The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, Naval Engineering Division, intends to contract a vendor to provide labor and materials, to renew the non-skid coating on the designated weather decks onboard, the USCGC SHERMAN (WHEC-720) beginning 15 May 03 to be completed by 06 June 03. This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Attention: Minority Women Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
