Description

This action is a HUBZone set-aside for Armed Guard services at U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command (ISC), Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA. The successful offeror will provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the performance of Armed Guard Services at ISC Alameda. The period of performance is planned for 01 October 2003 through 30 September 2004, with four (4) one year option periods from 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2008. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 May 2003, with a planned closing date of 13 June 2003. The guard services will be acquired under the authority of FAR Subpart 12. ?Commercial Items?. A guided site visit is planned. More definite information concerning the site visit (date/time/points of contact) will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued via the electronic Posting system at www.eps.gov under Vendor, DHS, United States Coast Guard, Commander (fcp-2) USCG Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, Alameda, CA. Telephone, written, and E-mail requests for hard copies of the solicitation package will not be accepted, the solicitation must be extracted from the EPS web site. The NAICS code is 561612 with a size standard of $10.5 million. Notice: This action is a 100 percent set-aside for SBA certified HUBZone small business concerns.
