- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603(c)(2)(i) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Item description for CLINs 0001-0073 is attached for submittal of quotes. Offers shall provide all personnel equipment, material and other items necessary to furnish law books for the law library. Books must be delivered FOB destination to various locations and in various configurations within the United States and overseas. Required delivery date will be after contract award and not later than 31 December 03. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR Part 13.5. Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F13JAS30451200. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil). This procurement is being issued under unrestricted; both small and large businesses may submit quotes. This solicitation document incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect in the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13 and Defense Acquisition Circular 20030331. North American Industrial Classification Standard 511120 applies to this procurement with a size standard of 500 employees. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offers must include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3?Offeror Representation and Certifications?Commercial Items (July 2002), DFARS 252.212-7000?Offeror Representation and Certifications?Commercial Items (Nov 1995), and DFARS 252.225-7000?Buy American Act?Balance Payments Program Certificates (Sep 1999) with the quotation. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced and responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation. Award will be made to a single source.
