Description
NA The Northern Region Contracting Center, Fort Leavenworth, intends to make a Firm Fixed Price, Unrestricted, Single Award to the most responsible offeror whose offer is technically acceptable and will be most advantageous to the government. Award will be b ased on Technical Proposal, Business Management Proposal, Quality Control, Past Performance and Price. Award will be made to the most qualified source to provide the necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and service s necessary to perform the task of securely storing, managing and administering medications to the inmates at the United States Disciplinary Barracks. Contracted personnel shall be available to disseminate medication twenty-four hours a day, seven days a w eek, three hundred and sixty-five days a year. The Contractor shall insure all employees have and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training and certification. The Contractor shall insur e that all employees have current professional licenses or certification appropriate to their education, training and assigned duties. All such licenses or certifications shall be authorized and provided by the State of Kansas. Contractor shall administer all medication that requires administration at all medication calls. The government will provide all medication to be distributed to the inmates. Contractor shall be responsible for all facets of storage, security, tracking, distribution or administration, termination and disposal of medication for USDB inmates and any other inmates domiciled in the USDB. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this is 621399. The size standard for a small business concern including it's affiliate s, is average annual sales and receipts for the proceeding three (3) fiscal years, not to exceed $6 Million, and SIC code is 8049. The RFP is to be issued on or about 9 May 03. Bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov ) database in order to receive award. Bidders are required to download the RFP and any associated amendments from www.tac.eustis.army.mil or www.FedBizOpps.gov. Bidders are responsible to routinely check the website for posted amendments. All responses will be considered and must include proof of ability to fulfill requirements including performance information and references on the contractor's abilities. All responses must include company name, address, point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mai l address, business size, taxpayer identification number, Duns number and cage code.
