Description

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis a purchase order to the Tuskegee Bioethics Center Evaluation, 1713 Willard Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009. The proposed contractor is the only known responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The period of performance shall commence on the date of receipt of the purchase order through September 30, 2003. The Contractor shall provide the necessary supplies and services required to collect, manage, and analyze, process and outcome (e.g., the extent to which the Tuskegee University National Center for Bioethics in Research and Health Care, hereby referred to as Tuskegee Bioethics Center or TBC, increased awareness of bioethical issues related to minority health concerns). Anticipated award date is May 07, 2003. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
