- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepare= d in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request for Quotes (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation documents incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS is 421450 with business size standard 500 employees. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Audie L. Murphy Division, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229 has a requirement to purchase one (1) Stroboscope Endoscopes Light Source, part number 9100B including: Halogen (constant) and xenon (flash) light source, laryngeal and audio microphones, pitch triggering by laryngeal microphone or egg input, digital display of pitch, phase, and amplitude measurements, four modes of operation (slow, fast locked, & manuel, foot switch and pedal for remote control of instrument functions and a isolation transformer. Additional accessories needed are one (1) single chip CCD Camera- Half inch CCD sensor video & s-video outputs, variable AGC control, power pack & C-Mount 5-lux sensitivity, part number 9211, one (1) 35mm Lens/Adapter, part number 9116, one (1) Digital Video Computer System, part number 9200B with all hardware and software for recording examinations and interfacing to camera, light source and printer Features: Computer (Pentium III-500 MHZ, PCI Ultra-wide SCSI architecture, 2x 18 GB hard disk, 128 MB Ram, 24x CD-Rom modem with win 2000 OS, Internal DVD & RW recording system 4GB cartridges, 19=94 Super VGA Monitor, Professional-Level (RGB component recording) video capture board with MJPEG compression daughter board, Hardware and software for computer control of camera white balance setting, Software for patient and examination database management, and image capture, processing and playback, Electroglottograph acquisition and display (requires Electroglottograph input), one (1) Flexible Scope Adaptor (Welch-Allyn), part number 9125, one (1) Flexible Scope Adapter (Olympus), part number 9120, one (1) Flexible Endoscopes =96 3.5mm Flexible endoscopes, part number 9107, one (1) DVD Ram Disk=92s 4GB storage capacity (10pcs), part number 9203, one (1) Kay Product Specialist set up system training =BD day, part number 9198, one (1) color printer (digital) which uses 8-1/2 x 11 paper, part number 9264C, 4 (four) Disposable cardboard tubes for rigid endoscopes holder (100), part number 7174-8301, one (1) Electroglottograph for egg display, part number 6103, six (6) 4x6 premium plus photo quality paper (20 sheets /box) for Kay printer 9264A, part number 1111-1177 and a two (2) year extended warranty, part number 9178. Manufacturer is Kay Elemetrics Corp. The STVHCS, Audie L. Murphy Division has a trade-in to be considered with purchase of above mentioned items. Trade In item description as follows: Stroboscopy System, to include Strobe System, SN# 031207, Color Camera SN# 480268, Dual Mode Monitor SN 112806, Video-Cassette Recorder SN# 1201521, Color Video Copy Processor SN# 101710, Computer 486-33 SN 001186, Color Video Monitor SN# 100509. Quotations shall include all warranty information, technical data, etc. Quotations shall be submitted F.O.B. destination.
