- Description
- The FAA has a requirement to provide general landscaping and grounds = keeping services at the Potomac Consolidated TRACON in Warrenton. VA. Serv= ices are expected to begin on/or about May 12, 2003. The site has approxim= ately thirty acres of grounds to be maintained. This is a Best Value Procu= rement. Basic for award will be past performance, delivery schedule, fina= ncial suitability and price. Companies having a home office within 100 mil= es of the site, at least five years of experience in maintaining grounds of= similar size and complexity and receive a score of 80% will be given consi= deration. The Government is seeking offers that provide the best combinati= on of quality and price in order to select the greatest value or =1CBest Bu= y=1D, therefore, award may be made to other than the lowest price offered. = The contractor and all employees of the contract will be subject to a Back= ground Investigation by the FAA Security Division. Contractors interested = in receiving a copy of the Screening Information Request (SIR) may fax over= a request to Nadene Fontano at 718-995-5685. The request must be transmit= ted on company letterhead so that the Government may ascertain business add= ress. Include company prospectus listing Past Performance on similar contr= acts. The request must be received by April 21, 2003, 2:00 P.M. There is = a short turnaround on this project and as such only five copies of the SIR = is available. The first five companies, validated by fax date and time, wi= thin the area of consideration and providing information requested herein w= ill be provided a copy by Federal Express. There will be a mandatory walk-= thru of the site. Only those companies who receive the SIR will be permitt= ed at the site visit. Announcement is changed to include Large Business and= extend time to request SIR until April 21, 2003 by 2:00 P.M.
