Description

The Bureau of the Census is seeking to acquire the following storage subsystem, or equivalent, consisting of the following components: 1) Qty 1 - QLOGIC SanBox2 16 port Fibre Channel Switch (SB2A-16A/GBIC); 2) Qty. 16 - SFP GBICS with LC Connector, for SANBOX 2 (CNTQLA2342-CK); 3) Qty. 3 QLOGIC QLA 2342 Dual Port Sanblade HBA's; 4) Qty. 16 - 20 meter fibre channel optical cable, LC to LC connectors; 5) Qty. 1 - 4.4 Terabyte LSI Logic Profibre Raid System, configured; (30) 146GB Seagate Cheetah 2gb/s drives, ST3146807FC, (1) 15Bay LSI Logic DF4000R ProFibre Raid Enclosure, (1) 15Bay LSI Logic DF400J ProFibre JBOD Enclosure, (2) LSI 2GB/s FFX RAID Controllers in DF4000R, (30) Hot-Swap Drive Sleds, 256MB Cache Memory per RAID Controller, (5) GBICS, SFP LC Connector, Hot-Swap Fans and Power Supplies, Dual loop 2GB Fibre Configuration, 2GB Fibre Channel Cabling Between enclosures, Configured and tested for Sun Solaris, and 1 year 8x5 telephone support and 1 day depot express service. This procurement is set-aside for small business.
