- Modified 17 Apr 03: Intend to procure LH41C Eyesafe Laser Range Finder vice LH40C. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), on behave of the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL), intends to negotiate a sole source contract with DRS Optronics, 2330 Commerce Park Drive (North East), Palm Bay, FL 32905. This fixed price contract is for the procurement of four (4) LH40C Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder with Night Scope Mount, Generation 3 Pinnacle Tube complete with canvas carry bag, operators manual, two (2) sets of rechargeable batteries, commercial battery charger, rugged pelican transport case, dovetail tripod mount, global positioning system cable, 3X extender, PVS-14 with reticle and night scope mount. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement within 30 days of this announcement to the contact person listed above.
