- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR 13 and the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The services req uired under this contract will be performed at Parks Reserve Force Training Area (PRFTA), Dublin, California. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DABJ27-03-T-00 27 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is due by COB 29 Apr 03. The RFQ is 100% small business set-aside, the SIC Code is 8734, the NAICS Code is 541380, and the small business size standard is $6.0 Million. The resultant contract action will be a firm-fixed price contract, which shall be effective for the period 1 May 2003 through 30 Apr 2004 with two (2) one-year option periods. Line Item 2001, QUANTITY 4 Each; COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF WATER SAMPLES in accordance with the Statement of Work contained in this combined synopsis/solicitation; performance period 1 May 05 ? 30 Apr 06. STATEM ENT OF WORK: Provide all labor, required permits, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to collect and analyze surface water samples for the California Red-legged Frog Habitat Management Units. Samples need to be analyzed for constitutes on a qu arterly basis as part of the Parks Reserve Forces Training Area (PFRTA) Endangered Species Management Plan at Dublin, California. A total of twelve (12) surface water samples are to be collected and analyzed for parameters set forth as follows: Total sus pended solids, aluminum, selenium, total dissolved solids, arsenic, total oil and grease, biochemical oxygen demand, chromium, total organic carbon, total alkalinity, copper, total phosphorous, turbidity, iron, nitrate, lead, organochlorine pesticides (EPA 8080A), dissolved oxygen, mercury, organophosphorus pesticides (EPA 8141A). Contractor will collect samples at a prearranged time and date in the following order: Three (3) samples in August of each year, Three (3) samples in October of each year, Three (3) samples in January of each year, and Three (3) samples in April of each year.
