Description

The work includes providing sufficient labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to cap existing 4? fuel oil supply, return and slice lines within existing tank manhole; provide 2? underground fuel oil supply and return lines with containment from existing tank manhole to existing Boiler #4; provide concrete sump pit with leak detection; provide dual fuel oil pump system with strainers; provide protection bollards at sump pit; restore site to original condition; remove and cap 1-1/2? fuel oil supply and return from Boiler #4 to pipe manifold in pump pit; provide all piping and electrical connections as required to supply a complete operable fuel oil system for boiler complete and ready for use, by means of a firm fixed-price contract, at the boiler plant, Bldg. 7CC, Naval Complex, Newport, Rhode Island. The NAICS Code is 811310. Size standard is $6 million. The solicitation is issued as 100% Small Business Set Aside. The approximate solicitation release date is 18 April 2003.
