- Description
- The US Special Operations Command intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) USZA95-03-R-0024 to acquire aircraft shock mount trays. A firm fixed-price contract is anticipated. The item to be quoted is Shock Mount Tray, P/N 2628228G001. Quantity is 36 each. Inspection and acceptance shall be at origin by the Government. Delivery is required within 20 weeks after contract award. FOB point is destination. Delivery point is Fort Campbell, KY. DPAS assigned rating is DO-A1. This RFP does not provide for full and open competition. Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The intended source is ITT Industries, Inc., Clifton, New Jersey. Technical data (engineering drawings and/or specifications) are not available nor is it economically feasible to acquire such data. Only ITT Industries has the capability to provide this item within the required delivery time. Solicitation issue date is expected to be o/a 29 April 2003. Proposals must be delivered to U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, Attn.: AMSAM-TASO-K, 401 Lee Blvd., Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5577, no later than 4:00 PM local time on 29 May 2003. Emailed or faxed proposals are acceptable. Offerors shall submit firm fixed-price proposals only. Note 22 applies.
