- Description
- The Joint Military Intelligence College is the nation?s center of excellence for the education of intelligence professionals?military and civilian?and is authorized in law by the US Congress to award the Bachelor of Science in Intelligence and the Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence degrees. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The College serves the educational needs of the US Intelligence Community and draws its students from all branches of the US military services and from all agencies of the US Intelligence Community. Instruction is conducted at the highest levels of security classification as all students, faculty and staff hold Top Secret clearances. The College is chartered by the Department of Defense and is attached to the Defense Intelligence Agency, with its main campus at the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center on Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, DC. The College seeks to award, through the Virginia Contracting Activity, competitive contracts for full-time instructors for one year with an option for one additional year beginning on or about 11 August 2003 in the following areas: Central Asia and the Caucasus Region (PR 212/0086Z/03) East Asia (China, Japan, Korea, South East Asia) (PR 212/0087Z/03) Europe (West and East Europe) (PR 212/088Z/03) Latin America (Central and South America) (PR 212/0089Z/03) Middle East (focus on the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula) (PR 212/0090Z/03) Weapons of Mass Destruction (212/0092Z/03) Leadership and Management Studies (212/0093Z/03) Counter-terrorism Analysis and Asymmetric Warfare (212/0094Z/03) Information Operations (212/0095Z/03) Middle East (focus on the Levant and North Africa) Note: this position is half-time. (212/0091Z/03) Qualification requirements: Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a current Top Secret/SCI clearance, at least a Master?s Degree in an appropriate academic discipline, experience as a teacher at the university level (preferably graduate level), evidence of published research on topics related to the position, and experience in national security affairs gained by teaching national security related subjects or by employment in the Intelligence Community or national security structure of the United States.
