Description

NA The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, has a requirement to purchase 800 pair of Tingley HazProof Boots, style number 83330, for use in conjunction with the Lewisite Level A (LLA) Protective Suits for use by our customer, Deseret Chemica l Depot, Stockton, Utah. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment and materials necessary to purchase and deliver these items. The Tingley HazProof Boot is the only boot that is approved for use in conjunction with the LLA pro tective suits, therefore, no substitution is acceptable. The required sizes and quantities are as follows: size 7, 57 pair; size 8, 168 pair; size 9, 168 pair; size 10, 200 pair; size 11, 62 pair; size 12, 88 pair and size 13, 57 pair. It is anticipated t hat a firm-fixed-price, commercial items purchase order will be awarded. Deliveries will be F.O.B. Destination. Period of performance is 180 days after receipt of the award. To be considered for award, the prospective contractor shall appear in the DOD Cen tral Contractor Registration. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The standard industrial code is 5099; the size standard is 100 employees. Telephone responses are not acceptable. Direct respon ses and quotations to Kathy Wallace @ kathy.r.Wallace@hnd01.usace.army.mil. by 1400 hours, 15 April 2003. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information include in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
