Description

NA The Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM), Ft Lee, VA has a requirement to provide the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) with combat development products for the combat services support funtional areas. This acquisition is a 100% 8(a) competitive Set -Aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)541990; size standard $6 million. Cascom requires contractor expertise and services to support Directorates for Combat Development (DCD) for Transportation, DCD for Ordnance, DCD for Qua rtermaster, DCD for Combat Service Support, ISD, and TSM CSSCS efforts in initiating, developing, assessing, analyzing, staffing, integrating, and documenting concepts, doctrine, organization and materiel requirements. This requirement includes services to support the DCD's with its focus on CSS support to the warfighter, leveraging technologies, battlefield digitization, developing issues, seeking solutions, demonstrating alternatives, and coordinating projects. The contractor shall support CASCOM requirem ents in the following tasked areas: Concepts, Future Operational Capabilities (FOC's), Science and Technology, Operational Architecture (OA), Doctrine, Organizational Requirements, and Materiel Requirements. Supporting tasks are: Integrated Logistics Suppo rt (ILS)and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM); Manprint; Studies/Analysis; Data Collection and Management; Concept Experimentation Program (CEP) and Battle Lab Warfighting Experiment (BLWE); Performance-Based Logistics (PBL); and Nonpersonal Support Services. An Indefinite delivery/Indefinite quantity Fixed-Price Delivery Order contract will be awarded for a base period of one (1) year with four one-year options. A solicitation will be posted on the Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) w ebsite: http//www.tac.eustis.army.mil on or around May 16, 2003 with a closing date of thirty (30) days thereafter.
