Description

The 45th Contracting Squadron has a Sole Source requirement for a total of 16 Freewave radios. 4 each FGR-115WC Radios, 900 MHz, 10 each I-920X009 Radios, 2.4 GHz and 2 each FGR-115RE radios, 900 MHz. This is a Sole Source with Freewave Technologies, Inc. IAW FAR Part 6.302-1. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representaions and Certification-Commercial Items shall be completed and submitted. FAR 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside. Note: The full text of a clause/provision may be accessed electronically at this address: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the individual listed below. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider all responses received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Important Notice: FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration requires registration in the CCR database. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334220, the SIC Code is 3663 and the size standard is 750. These products are for the Air Force Technical Application Center (AFTAC), 1030 S. Hwy A1A, Bldg 989, Patrick AFB FL 32925. Delivery is due on or before 23 May 03. Anticipated award date on or about 25 Apr 03. No solicitation document exists or will be issued. The 45th Contracting Squadron has determined that Freewave Technologies, Inc is the only source capable of providing this service. Phone calls will not be accepted. SEE NUMBERED NOTE 22.
