Description: NA A potential offeror asked the following question: Is there a reason that permanent portable toilets were not included in the solicitation? Answer: The first Purchase Order is funded by FMS (Foreign Military Sales) funds for the Japanese Army & Air Force , and consists of 1) 7 permanent units fot the period 1 Oct through 30 Sept. 2003 with services, and 2) 36 temporary uits with service for the period 1 Oct 2003 through 5 Dec 2003. Foreign governmental entities may specify the source to which they wish aw ard made when expending their own funds. The second Purchase Order was awarded with a base year and 4 option years, and is presently the option year 1, for the period 1 Oct-30 Sept 03, is in effect. This order consists of 21 permanent units with service at McGregor Range and 6 permanent units at Dona Ana Range. Obviously, since these units are presently under contract they are not included in the referenced solicitation. Due date for receipt of proposals is changed to 10 April 2003, 1000 hours.
