Description

Sources Sought. The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to purchase 450 each, diodes, reverse blocking thyristor (RBDT) for the National Weather Service (NWS) to be placed in stock at the National Logistics Support Center (NLSC) in Kansas City, MO. NSN: 5961-01-060-6663, ASN: R400-3A12A1Q1. Westinghouse pn: 589R131H01 or 635A716H01 Revision L or M. The only known approved source of supply for this item is Powerex Company. As these parts are in support of the current NEXRAD program, alternative or like items are not acceptable without extensive testing. Any small business source able to provide the exact make and model of the equipment referenced herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. Interested firms should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified equipment. Also include the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other government agencies to which it has previously provided the item.
