Description
The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) is looking for sources to conduct a study for managing records in compliance with Federal laws and regulations. NIMA does not have a paper-based record keeping system in place, or an established Electronic Records Management (ERM) system. The need is to perform a comprehensive study of NIMA electronic and hard copy information systems and storage requirements based on retention policy and document the results of the study in the form of a report with recommendations on where and how to implement ERM. Any ERM recommended solution must not only be robust to deal with very large volumes, it must also address how NIMA will be able to identify, capture, effectively control and maintain its enterprise and corporate information while meeting user needs, being user friendly, administratively sound, and fiscally responsible. NIMA is looking for a contractor to perform the study that has experience in implementing record keeping systems, with the intent to receive from the contractor recommendations that help to avoid pitfalls associated with implementing electronic record keeping and include lessons learned from real world implementations. NIMA components to be included in the study are located in the Washington DC area, Bethesda, MD area, Reston, VA area, St. Louis, MO area, and Arnold, MO area. In order to have access to NIMA facilities, the contractor must have personnel immediately available who possess a security clearance level of TS/SI/TK. At least one contractor person must have TS/SI/TK/B clearance to access one NIMA location. Contractor should also provide their business size, type entity (SDB, 8(A), SB, etc.), any existing IDIQ contracts such as GSA MOBIS and a capability statement, not to exceed (NTE) ? page in length. This is not a request for proposal or bid.
