Description

This contract includes providing all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and transportation necessary to maintain the following equipment: portable fire extinguishers; fixed fire suppression equipment located in hazardous material storage lockers; removal, installation and certification of portable fire extinguishers including extinguisher brackets, signs, boards; annual and six and five year equipment inspections as required, and incidental related work. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining/updating the Government?s maintenance records of equipment identified and modified into the statement of work. The work is primarily located at the Bremerton Naval Complex however other Government activities/buildings within a 50-mile radius may be added via modification to this contract. The NAIC for this procurement is 423990. The related small business size standard is 500 employees. This Request for Proposal (RFP), N44255-02-R-4003, is a competitive negotiation and will result in a combination firm fixed price and indefinite quantity contract. There will be a base award and 4-option periods available dependent upon contractor performance. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The RFP will be available on or about 25 April 2003 and will be available for downloading from the Internet. Proposals will be due on or about 28 May 2003. Award is anticipated to be on or about 20 June 2003. The solicitation, notices, and amendments will be available via www.esol.navfac.navy.mil, www.fedbizopps.gov, or www.dodbusopps.com only. Hardcopies will not be mailed. A copy of the plan holders list may be obtained by written request EFA NW (ROICC Bremerton), 467 W Street, Bremerton, WA 98314 or via fax at (360) 476-0498. Email addresses will be included in the plan holders list. All qualified, responsible, small businesses may submit any offer that shall be considered by the agency.
