- Medical Supplies - Potential Sources Sought Military Hospitals - (Army, Navy, Air Force) TRICARE Regions 9 and 10 OR Scrub & Prep Supplies - Standardization Point of Contact: Cindy Ingrao, Clinical Consultant, Tri-Service Regional Business Office, TRICARE Regions 9 & 10, San Diego, CA. Telephone: (619) 532-8517. Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of OR Scrub & Prep Supplies. TRICARE Regions 9 and 10, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical treatment facilities in California are in the process of standardizing OR Scrub & Prep Supplies. If your company currently holds or is in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) for OR Scrub & Prep Supplies, your company is eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: cingrao@reg9.med.navy.mil and provide your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and E-mail address and answers to the below listed questions no later than April 15, 2003. For questions, please call (619) 532-8517. 1. Does your company offer an iodine surgical skin scrub and paint tray? 2. What brand of OR Scrub & Prep Supplies do you carry? 3. What is your DAPA Number? 4. Are gloves included in your trays? If so, are they easily accessible as to not contaminate the tray and are they latex free? 5. Does your company offer a surgical skin scrub and paint tray for iodine sensitive patients? 6. Does your company offer an iodine surgical skin one-step paint gel? 7. Does your company offer a surgical skin one-step paint gel for iodine sensitive patients? 8. Does your company offer an iodine surgical skin one-step paint solution? 9. Does your company offer a surgical skin one-step paint solution for iodine sensitive patients? 10. What other types of antimicrobial scrubs, gels, and solutions does your company offer? 11. Do your products contain alcohol? 12. Are your products fragrance free? 13. Can your solutions, paints, or gels be warmed for patient comfort without losing its efficacy? 14. What is the spectrum of antimicrobial activity for your products? 15. What is the amount of time needed for efficacy to be reached for your paints, gels, and/or solutions? 16. Do your products provide persistent antimicrobial activity? 17. Do your products have ingredients that protect the skin from drying and irritation? 18. Are there any products that might be used to cleanse the skin or types of gloves that are not compatible with your products? 19. What is the average length of time it takes for your paint scrubs to dry? 20. What is the average length of time it takes for your one step gels to dry? 21. What is the average length of time it takes for your one step solutions to dry? 22. Is there any special handling or storage required with the use of any of your products? 23. If your products spill or drip, are they easily cleaned off of skin, floors, and equipment? 24. What types of educational tools or materials do you have for this product line? 25.
