Description: NA This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole-source contract under FAR 6.302-1 to Bio-Rad Diagnostics and not a request for competitive quotes. Bio-Rad is the only known source to have access to the proprietary hardware and software that is required . This requirement is to provide annual full service maintenance for an hemoglobin test system, model Varian at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA. The period of performance will be for a base year 1 April 2003 thru 31 March 2004 and (4) four option perio ds. This request is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) authorized in FAR subpart 13.**** Note 22 Applies.
