Description

NA The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) intends to negotiate with E M A Design Automation, Inc. on a sole source basis for the procurement of software used for drawing schematics, wiring diagrams, circuit boards, and other electrical/el ectronics design uses. TACOM is issuing a combined Synopsis/ Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals will be accepted, however a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/ Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DAAE07-03-T-0005. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are th ose in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14, dated 24 Sep 1999. Description of Supplies/ Services: OrCAD Unison Pro Software Package; includes OrCAD Capture CIS Schematic Entry, OrCAD Layout PCB Layout, Pspice A/D Simulation, and Specctra Auto Router 6 layers Routing. We require this brand/type of software in order to stay compatible with other Army groups. Current projects in survivability and remote control require the use of this software to be successful. Equipment and Services are for TACOM, AMSTA-TR-D, Warren, MI. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
