Description

NA Miscellaneous renovations to Briant Wells Field House, Fort Benning, Georgia. Work includes, but not limited to, replace plumbing system, upgrade the latrines, and replace the heating system to the latrines and office spaces, replace wood doors and modify metal frames, install roof mounted heat pump and ductwork system, install rubber floor system, replace broken window panes, hardware, painting, replace the glass and metal door store front entrance, wash walls, patch holes and cracks, and provide two tem porary modular latrines equipped with hot water heaters, showers, toilets, lavatories, dry off area, and small locker area. This is a high visibility command emphasis project and there will be a pre-bid conference conducted in Building 6, Room 261 on 1 Ma y 2003. This solicitation is for awarding a firm fixed-price contract with the estimated magnitude between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 and Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for this project. This Solicitation is issued with funds available f or the base bid item (Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001) only and ?SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS? for additive CLINs 0002 thru 0008. Bidders are remi nded that you must be registered and currently active with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) to be eligible for award. Solicitation will be available on or about 18 April 2003 and will be available at no cost on Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) (http://acquisition.army.mil), however all information may not be available on the ASFI website and it is recommended that bidders request, in writing, the solicitation on a compact disk by emailing Virginia Wright at WrightV@benning.army. mil or fax your request to (706)545-6529. All responsible bidders may submit bids which will be considered by this Agency.
