Description

The Peace Corps intends to renew its agreement with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of New York, to offer coverage to its Volunteers during their two year overseas tour of duty. MetLife (and Travelers before) has offered this coverage to Peace Corps Volunteers, who elect to pay with their own funds, since 1962. The Peace Corps agreement with MetLife will be renewed effective 01 MAY 2003, continuing with its traditional year-to-year basis. The Peace Corps invites interested insurance underwriters to submit coverage proposals by no later than Noon (12pm) local Washington DC time on Monday, 19 MAY 2003.
