Description
NA The U. S. Army Medical Research Acqusition Activity intends to procurement the use of a conference facility and all services to support the scheduled U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (MRMC) Conference being held February 7, 2004 - February 1 2, 2004. The location shall be in the Baltimore area which is convenient to Baltimore-Washington Internation Airport, restaurants, and to Fort Detrick, MD. The food and beverage requirements are: Ice breaker - Reception food and cash bar; continental br eakfast and fruits with coffe each morning (3 days); refresh coffee mid morning each day (3 days); afternoon break (2 days); and cash bars and social hour snacks before banquest on last evening. Banquet - A banquet will be held at the facility during the evening of Wedensday February 11, 2004, for the MRMC NCO/Soldier of the Year. Each attendee shall pay for their own food, the facility shall provide snacks, cash bar and bartender for the social hour before the banquet. Audio-visual support: micorphones , two (2) LCD projectors, two (2) screens and a sound system. Meeting space: General session room with seating for 220, equipped with a business office with eight (8) phones, fax, copy machine, and computers. Commander's Room for private meetings (8 peo ple); a Commander's Room for meetings each day with his Commanders (25 people); a green room available for speakers to prepare their presentations, sorage room for the computer boxes, flag stands. Non-Commmissioned (NCO) meeting room for 30 people each day for the Command Segeant Major (CSM); break-out rooms (2) for the CSM (one day only) to have for interviews, and on request additional meeting rooms for off line opportunity meetings. Parking at the facility for all days and nights. Rooms to accomodat e 200 or more people. Exibit/Display requirement: 500 square feet of space with available electricity.
